Where to Imagine an Alternative?
Unbound Territories invites you to question the spaces we inhabit and envision radical alternatives. Drawing inspiration from Borges's "The Library of Babel," the exhibition transposes the author's infinite yet fragmented universe of knowledge into our lived reality. Just as Borges's labyrinthine library reflects the paradoxes of human conditions, Unbounded Territories posits that our contemporary spaces—private, public, and national—are arenas where multiple, intersecting struggles materialize. Unbound Territories exposes how our surroundings shape society's valuation of human work, often dulling our senses and alienating us from our labor. By highlighting the clash between human creativity's boundless potential and the constraints of capitalist spatial arrangements, Unbounded Territories encourages the participants to reimagine our relationship with space. We prompt you to consider how collective action might reconfigure our material conditions, dismantle oppressive structures, and foster new social organizations that awaken our senses and reclaim our full human potential.

¿Dónde imaginar nuevas alternativas?
Unbounded Territories te invita a cuestionar los espacios que habitamos y a visualizar alternativas radicales. Inspirándose en La Biblioteca de Babel de Borges, la exposición transpone el infinito pero fragmentado universo de conocimiento del autor a nuestra realidad vivida. Así como la laberíntica biblioteca borgiana refleja las paradojas de la condición humana, Unbounded Territories postula que nuestros espacios contemporáneos—privados, públicos y nacionales—son escenarios donde convergen múltiples contiendas materializadas.
Unbounded Territories explora cómo nuestro entorno moldea la valoración social de la labor humana, a menudo embotando nuestros sentidos y distanciándonos de nuestro quehacer. Al destacar el conflicto entre el potencial ilimitado de la creatividad humana y las restricciones impuestas por las disposiciones espaciales capitalistas, la exposición alienta a los participantes a reimaginar su relación con el espacio.

"مساحات غير محدودة" تدعوك للتفكير في الأماكن التي نعيش فيها وتصوّر بدائل جذرية. مستوحاة من "مكتبة بابل" ل بورخيس، ينقل المعرض عالم الكاتب اللامحدود والمجزأ من المعرفة إلى واقعنا المعاش. و كما تعكس متاهة مكتبة بورخيس تناقضات الحالة الإنسانية، فإن معرض "مساحات غير محدودة" يفترض أن الأماكن المعاصرة لدينا—الخاصة والعامة والوطنية—هي ساحات تتجسد فيها صراعات متعددة ومتداخلة. يكشف معرض "مساحات غير محدودة" كيف أن محيطاتنا تؤثر في تقييم المجتمع للعمل البشري، غالبًا ما تضعف حواسنا وتجعلنا نشعر بالاغتراب عن عملنا. من خلال تسليط الضوء على التوتر بين الإمكانيات اللامحدودة للإبداع البشري والقيود التي تفرضها الترتيبات المكانية الرأسمالية، فإن معرض "مساحات غير محدودة” يشجّع المشاركين على إعادة التفكير في علاقتنا مع المكان. نحن نحثك على التفكير في أن العمل الجماعي يمكنه إعادة تشكيل ظروفنا المادية، وتفكيك الهياكل القمعية، وتبني منظمات اجتماعية جديدة تتيح لنا استعادة حواسنا وإمكاناتنا الإنسانية الكاملة."
